This privacy policy applies to RJS Innovative Building Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”), a company registered in England and Wales under company number 10012712, with its registered office at 47 Pulteney Road, South Woodford, London, E18 1PR, United Kingdom.
We are the data controller responsible for the personal data we collect about you through this website, by phone, by email, and during the course of our building work.

2. What information we collect
- Enquiry details — name, phone number, email address, postcode/town, and the project description you submit via our contact form, by email or by phone.
- Site visit information — measurements, photographs and notes taken during a free survey at your property.
- Contract & payment data — billing address, signed contract documents, invoices and payment references where you become a client.
- Technical data — IP address, device type, browser, and pages visited via standard analytics cookies.

4. Who we share your information with
We do not sell your data. We share it only with:
- Architects, structural engineers, building control inspectors and approved sub-trades where strictly required to deliver your project.
- Our accountants and HMRC as required by UK tax law.
- Our IT, email and form-handling providers (acting as processors under written agreements).
5. Cookies
This site uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies:
- Strictly necessary — to keep the site working (e.g. session, security).
- Analytics — anonymous usage statistics (page views, broad geography). Loaded only with your consent.
- Embedded Google Map — the contact page embeds a Google Map. Google may set its own cookies under its own privacy policy.
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Doing so will not affect your ability to use the website.
6. How long we keep your data
- Unsuccessful enquiries: up to 24 months, then deleted.
- Client project records, contracts and invoices: 7 years from project completion (HMRC requirement).
- Site photographs used for portfolio: indefinitely, unless you ask us to remove them.
7. Your rights under UK GDPR
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Have inaccurate data corrected.
- Have your data erased where we no longer have a lawful reason to keep it.
- Restrict or object to certain processing.
- Receive a portable copy of the data you've provided.
- Withdraw consent at any time where processing relies on consent.

9. Security
We use HTTPS across the website and restrict access to personal data to staff who need it to deliver your project. Backup copies of contract data are encrypted at rest.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date at the top of this page.
