    Terms & Conditions

The terms governing the use of this website and our building services. Last updated 30 April 2026.

    1. About us

This website (https://rjsinnovativebuilding.com) is operated by RJS Innovative Building Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 10012712) with its registered office at 47 Pulteney Road, South Woodford, London, E18 1PR.

You can contact us by phone on 07783 449 736 or by email at raphael.sappa@rjsinnovativebuilding.com.

    2. Use of this website

By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

    • You must be 18 or over to submit an enquiry on your own behalf.
    • You must not use the site in any way that is unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful to others.
    • You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site, the server hosting it, or any connected database.

    3. Quotations & contracts

Any quotation we issue is an invitation to enter into a contract on the terms set out in that quotation; it is not itself a contract. A binding contract for building works is formed only when both parties sign a written project contract. Quotations are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.

    4. Payment

Payment terms for any project are set out in the signed contract for that project. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, invoices are payable within 7 days of issue. Late payment may incur statutory interest under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 where applicable.

    5. Workmanship & guarantees

All work is carried out in a good and workmanlike manner using materials of a quality consistent with the agreed specification. Workmanship guarantees are detailed in your project contract and on your handover certificate. Manufacturer warranties on installed products (e.g. boilers, appliances, glazing) are passed to you and are governed by the manufacturer's terms.

    6. Variations

Any change to the agreed scope of works must be confirmed in writing as a variation order before the change is carried out. Variations may affect cost and programme.

    7. Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any matter for which it would be unlawful to exclude liability.

Subject to the above, our total liability arising under or in connection with any contract is limited to the contract price. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of revenue, or loss of opportunity.

We carry £5,000,000 public liability insurance and £10,000,000 employer's liability insurance. Certificates are available on request.

    8. Consumer rights

Where you are a consumer, nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including the right to services performed with reasonable care and skill, in a reasonable time, and at a reasonable price.

    9. Cancellation rights (consumers)

If you are a consumer and you sign a contract for building works away from our business premises (for example at your home), you have a right to cancel within 14 days under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. If you ask us to start work within that 14-day period and then cancel, you must pay for the work and materials already provided.

    10. Complaints procedure

We aim to deliver every project to the standard you'd expect to recommend us. If something falls short:

    1. Raise it with your project lead or with Raphael Sappa directly within 14 days of completion.
    2. If unresolved within 14 days of being raised, put your complaint in writing to raphael.sappa@rjsinnovativebuilding.com. We will acknowledge within 2 working days and provide a written response within 21 days.
    3. If the matter remains unresolved, you may refer it to our Trusted Trader scheme provider, Which? Trusted Traders, who operate an independent dispute-resolution service for consumer complaints.

    11. Intellectual property

All content on this website (text, images, logos and design) is owned by or licensed to RJS Innovative Building Ltd. You may view and download content for personal, non-commercial use only.

    12. Governing law

These terms and any contract formed under them are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.

    13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date at the top of this page.
